Building Microsoft System Center Cloud – SCVMM 2012 R2 – Uninstallation and decommission


In the previous articles we did a simple deployment of the VMM to a single server with Virtual Machine Manager 2012 R2 and single server with SQL Server 2012 SP1. If you deployed your VMM on a single server and now you want to do a complex deployment or if you have any other reason why you need to uninstall the VMM then this article is suitable for you.

Remove integrations

  • Remove all integrations between VMM and other System Center products.

Uninstall VMM

  • Simply uninstall everything from the server.
  • In my case I want to start from the scratch so I will remove all data.

Remove SQL Server

  • And you can also uninstall Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Select all features of the given instance.
